February 16, 2016, NY—WFUNA, along with 169 other civil society organizations, has endorsed an open letter to the Chair of the UN Statistical Commission and Co-Chairs of the Interagency Expert Group on the Sustainable Development Goals in advance of the UN Statistical Commission Meeting to be held in New York March 8-11.
The letter, written by the CSO Indicators Working Group of Together 2030, calls for increased transparency, inclusion of civil society organizations, and improved regional and thematic indicators. It also requests an extension of the timeline from March to August 2016 in order to incorporate these changes.
