Dongseo University invited Mr. Kim Yongjae, WFUNA’s Partnership and Education Officer to speak at the Global Citizenship Lecture on May 25 for their CAMPUS Asia (Collective Action for Mobility Program of University Students in Asia) Program Participants.

More than 60 CAMPUS Asia program participants from China (Guangdong University of Foreign Studies), Japan (Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University) and Republic of Korea (Dongseo University) attended the lecture and discussed the possible policy cooperation methods on SDGs between the neighboring countries. CAMPUS Asia Program was launched by the CJK governments in 2011 modeled after the ERASMUS Program which successfully enriched the mutual understanding and strengthened global citizenship education for the students from the European States.

Mr. Kim shed light on the importance of the partnership and cooperation between the neighboring countries in the regional community in accomplishing the 17 SDGs and the necessity of Northeast Asian Countries leadership to spurring the sustainable future.

WFUNA’s education team in the Seoul office also partnered with Dongseo University for the upcoming annual education program for global citizenship in Busan, ROK.
