Global Model WHO 2026: Official Dates Announced

The World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) is pleased to announce that Global Model WHO 2026, jointly organized by WFUNA and the World Health Organization (WHO), will take place from November 10 to 13, 2026, in Geneva, Switzerland, at WHO Headquarters.

Registration for Global Model WHO 2026 is now open.

Global Model WHO brings together students and young professionals from around the world to engage in an immersive simulation of the World Health Assembly and global health diplomacy. Through structured discussions, negotiation, and consensus-building, delegates will gain a deeper understanding of how Member States, technical experts, and global health stakeholders work together to address some of the world’s most pressing public health challenges.

Hosted at WHO Headquarters in Geneva, Global Model WHO 2026 will offer participants a unique opportunity to experience global health decision-making in the heart of international health governance. Delegates will explore timely health priorities, practice diplomatic communication, and develop practical skills in policy analysis, advocacy, collaboration, and multilateral negotiation.

Building on the Global Model WHO Experience

Global Model WHO continues to provide a platform for young people to connect global health knowledge with real-world policy processes. The conference is designed to strengthen participants’ understanding of the World Health Organization, the World Health Assembly, and the role of international cooperation in advancing health for all.

Through simulation sessions, workshops, expert engagement, and networking opportunities, participants will be encouraged to think critically about global health challenges and contribute thoughtful, solution-oriented perspectives.

Looking Ahead to 2026

Global Model WHO 2026 will continue WFUNA and WHO’s shared commitment to empowering young people with the knowledge, skills, and networks needed to engage meaningfully in global affairs and public health.

More details about simulation topics, program highlights, and participation opportunities will be announced soon.

WFUNA and the WHO look forward to welcoming delegates to Geneva in November 2026 for another impactful edition of Global Model WHO.

Registration is open now.
