Ambassador Ho-Jin Lee has served the Republic of Korea as a career diplomat over three decades since 1974. His diplomatic service covered the US, Europe and East Asia, mainly specializing in the ROK-US alliance, regional security and economic cooperation in East Asia, global disarmament and export control, and nuclear enterprise. He was most recently Ambassador to Finland and Estonia; he had also served previously as Ambassador to Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Ranking Ambassador to the UN. In his personal capacity, he worked for the UN Secretary-General as an Advisory Board member (2004-08) and Chairman (2007). Currently, Ambassador Lee socially serves, among others, as Principal Vice-President of the UNA-ROK.
