Jason Thompson is an American Erasmus Mundus Scholar currently studying e-governance, sovereignty theory, and Antarctic geopolitics at KU Leuven in Belgium, the University of Münster in Germany, and the Tallinn University of Technology in Estonia. He previously studied at the University of Tsukuba in Japan where he founded and trained the university's first internationally competitive Model UN team. He has also been invited to teach Model UN seminars to high school students throughout the Tokyo region. Jason's history with the WIMUN Approach can be traced back to 2014, and he has served as part of the 2019 WIMUN New York Senior Secretariat as the ASG of Conference Management. In addition, Jason served as a trainer at the 2017 WFUNA Youth Camp Korea and as a secretary at WIMUN India 2019.

Madeleine Northfield is a Junior studying International Relations and Economics at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Born and raised in Toronto, Madeleine has been doing Model UN for the last 7 years. She has worked as a Diplomacy fellow for Best Delegate for the previous 2 summers, teaching high school level students all about MUN. This year she is serving as McGill Universities Head Delegate and was a GA Secretary at WIMUN NYC 2019! She loves to travel and compete all across North America for MUN.

Philipp is a WIMUN enthusiast from Germany who has worked for numerous WIMUN conferences. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Brunswick European Law School with focus on labor law with economics and psychology as minor subjects. Currently, he finishes a Master's degree in International Law and Business focussing on HR management. While working for a worldwide tour operator, Philipp enjoys travelling as often as he can. When at home, he likes to cook with fresh ingredients and delicious spices.

Alicia Landin is a Sustainable Development Engineering student from Monterrey, Mexico. She started MUN at the age of 11 as the youngest member of her middle school delegation, attending several local MUN conferences throughout the year. She later began participating in local and international conferences, and her experiences led her to create MONUM, a conference designed for children from underprivileged public middle schools in Monterrey, Mexico, with the purpose of creating active and conscious citizens. She believes education is the key to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, and is currently working alongside professors in sustainability and conservation research. She is an active member of the International MUN community, staffing conferences around the world such as WIMUN and SPMUN.

Khai Nguyen is a first-year at George Mason University based in Virginia, USA double majoring in Computer Science and CyberSecurity. Over his 6 year Model UN career, Khai has served on a variety of Secretariats, staffed conferences as a Committee Chair, Crisis Director, Logistics Officer, has held the Head Delegate title for several Model UN organizations, and has frequently worked alongside Best Delegate. In these positions, especially as Secretary-General of Chantilly Model United Nations, Khai has frequently brought his technical background to enhance committee experiences for members of the Secretariat, Faculty Advisors, and especially attending delegates. Outside of Model UN, Khai is a U.S. Wushu Team Member, a swim coach, and an active Toastmaster.

Claudia McDonnell has always had a natural gravitation towards international affairs causing her to fall in love with MUN. Currently studying a Bachelor of Arts/Law Majoring in Politics & International Relations at UNSW, Claudia balances her studies with exciting projects including being the Australian Director of Young Diplomats, an international think tank and a political writer for the Australian blog, “Get With It”, explaining and recapping current affairs. Passionate about inspiring young people, Claudia is a youth leader mentoring young girls in the community. When she’s not studying, writing articles or chatting politics she’s working as a professional Voice Over Actor or practising her French while eating some (very) buttery croissants. Claudia joined the WIMUN team in Geneva 2019 as a Public Information Officer and is now excited to be leading that team in New York 2020.

Andrew Fawaz is an Economics & International Development student at McGill University in Montreal, QC, Canada. A born and raised Montrealer, he has participated in Model United Nations activities since 2015 and has served in a variety of staffing positions since at over a dozen conferences. He currently serves as VP Finance of the International Relations Student Association of McGill (IRSAM), which organizes all of the Model UN activities at McGill. Outside of Model UN, Andrew serves as the Communications Director of a charity in Canada that focuses on education and advocacy on social justice issues in the Middle East.
