Aziel Philippos Goulandris

Aziel Philippos Goulandris has been the Secretary-General of the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) since October 2023, after a decade of dedicated service and leadership to the Organization. He holds dual M.A. degrees in Geopolitics and International Relations from King’s College London and the University of Bordeaux, along with a B.A. in Law. Throughout his career at WFUNA, he has served as Education Officer, Director of the Geneva Office, and Deputy Secretary-General, where he played a pivotal role in expanding the organization’s global reach, strengthening its programs, and extending the network of UN Associations. Beyond WFUNA, his experience includes having served as a Legal Advisor, a Human Rights and Humanitarian Expert at the Greek Permanent Mission to the UN in Geneva, and as a Legal Officer for the French Coast Guard Service. His engagement with civil society began during his university years, laying the foundation for his ongoing commitment to international cooperation and advocacy. He is fluent in Greek, French, English, and Spanish.

Afroditi Anastasaki
Education & Training Officer

Afroditi Anastasaki

Afroditi Anastasaki is WFUNA’s Education and Training Officer. In her role, she leads WFUNA’s global education and training activities, and coordinates strategic partnerships. Prior to WFUNA, Afroditi has worked for the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), CERN, the Permanent Mission of Greece to the United Nations in Geneva, the University of Geneva, and the UN High Commissioner for the Refugees (UNHCR), in Athens. Afroditi holds a BA in International and European Affairs, and a MSc. in Innovation, Human Development, and Sustainability from the University of Geneva.

Senior Program Officer

Finn Carlson

Finn Carlson is WFUNA’s Senior Program Officer. In this capacity, he is in charge of managing WFUNA’s educational programs focused on bridging the gap between the United Nations and civil society, especially young people. Finn has been with WFUNA for over 7 years, serving in various roles and capacities. Prior to joining WFUNA, Finn worked at the United Nations and the European Union. Finn holds a BA in International Studies and a Msc in Political Science from Leiden University.

Partnerships Associate

Boran Choi

Boran Choi is the Partnerships Associate at WFUNA’s Seoul Office. She is responsible for developing strategic partnerships including social media platforms, PR, creative, and digital agencies to expand the initiative’s partners and advocates, as well as coordinating planning and implementing external communications and advocacy activities, including campaigns for movement mobilization. She also worked as a program assistant at WFUNA in 2023. Boran holds B.A in Political Science and International Relations with minors in International Development Cooperation.

Education & Training Associate

Santiago Conrad

Santiago Conrad serves as an Education and Training Associate at WFUNA, where he supports the development, coordination, and delivery of educational programs that promote the values and work of the United Nations. His role includes curriculum design, facilitation of training sessions, and engagement with stakeholders across WFUNA’s global network. With a background in international relations and international business administration, Santiago brings experience from both the private and NGO sectors. He has contributed to portfolio management, developed tailored solutions for diverse client needs, and coordinated networking events for foreign nationals across six countries. Prior to joining WFUNA, he worked on projects in private equity, marketing, and consulting. Santiago holds a degree in Business Administration from Geneva Business School and is equipped to deliver trainings and workshops in a variety of international contexts. Passionate about empowering young people to engage with global challenges, he believes in the transformative power of inclusive, accessible education. Fluent in English and Spanish, with working proficiency in French, Santiago splits his time between staying current with global affairs and exploring new destinations, seeking opportunities to build cross-cultural understanding and foster international cooperation.

Chief Regional Coordinator

Yongjae Kim

Yongjae Kim is Chief Regional Coordinator. His role is to manage and develop partnership relations across Asia-Pacific region as well as to devise and implement innovation & entrepreneurship projects for WFUNA. He leads Citypreneurs organizing committee for urban innovation challenge. His past experience includes managing the committee for Global Strategy of the National Research Council of Korea, public relations of the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat between China, Japan and the Republic of Korea, and teaching cadets National Security and Civil-military relations at the ROK Air Force Academy. Yongjae holds an M.A. in Political Science from Seoul National University. Yongjae is the Founding President of Asian Future Leaders’ Association.

Senior Administrative Officer

E.J. Eun-Jung Koh

E.J. Eun-Jung Koh is the Senior Administrative Officer at WFUNA’s Seoul Office. She joined the team in May 2018 and is currently responsible for coordinating administrative affairs of the Seoul Office. Her past experience includes working at the Korea Cycling Federation as the international affairs coordinator and was in charge of organizing international cycling races within Korea, arranging logistics for the national cycling team of Korea, and communicating with the International Cycling Union and other national federations.

Training & Education Officer

Peter Youngjin Lee

Peter Youngjin Lee is the Training and Education Officer at WFUNA’s Seoul Office. He joined the team in March 2016 and is currently responsible for coordinating education programs in the Republic of Korea. Peter has actively participated in Model UN activities for more than 10 years as delegate and Secretariat member at various conferences throughout Asia and Europe. He became involved with WFUNA’s work as a trainer at WFUNA Youth Camp: Korea 2016. His previous work experience includes serving as an Interpretation Officer and a Protocol Officer for the Republic of Korea Navy. Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Hanyang University.

MUN Program Associate

Emily Mims

Emily Mims is WFUNA’s MUN Program Associate based in the New York Office. She supports the planning and execution of WFUNA’s educational programming, with a focus on creating meaningful experiences that connect students to global issues through Model UN. Passionate about empowering young people through leadership development and global perspectives, Emily brings experience in student programming, event logistics, and educational outreach. She regularly works with HOBY (Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership), where she oversees event logistics for high school students and helps to promote global citizenship through community service. Emily graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in History with a minors in Education Studies, Women’s Studies, and Public Relations from the University of Florida.

Model UN Coordinator

Bill Yotive

Mr. William Yotive is currently the Model UN Coordinator for WFUNA. Prior to working at WFUNA, Mr. Yotive was Project Manager of the United Nations Global Teaching and Learning Project within the Outreach Division of the UN Department of Public Information for more than 14 years. He was responsible for creating educational materials for schools around the world on the United Nations and global issues on its agenda. In addition, he organized various global videoconferences for students and teachers each year at UN Headquarters on human rights, the legacy of the transatlantic slave trade and the observance of the International Day of Peace. Prior to working at the UN, Mr. Yotive was a Director of Research at Sesame Workshop which produces educational television programmes for children, such as Sesame Street. He has designed and conducted many studies to evaluate the impact that these programmes have on the cognitive, social and emotional development of children. Mr. Yotive is an Advisory Council Member of the Committee on Teaching about the UN and also serves on the International Institute on Peace Education Transnational Advisory Group.

Derek Devashrayee

As Partnerships Coordinator at the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA), Derek is responsible for building and strengthening strategic partnerships that support WFUNA’s global educational initiatives. His work focuses on creating meaningful connections with organizations, foundations, and academic institutions around the world to expand the reach and impact of WFUNA’s programs, which aim to promote the values and work of the United Nations. Through his role, Derek plays a key part in aligning external collaborations with WFUNA’s mission, ensuring educational offerings remain relevant, inclusive, and accessible to diverse audiences. He works closely with internal teams and international partners to develop opportunities that empower students and young professionals to become informed global citizens and future leaders.

Communications & Marketing Consultant

Gooi Min Hsian

Gooi Min Hsian (Michelle) is the Communications and Marketing Consultant at WFUNA, where she drives major youth and education initiatives such as WIMUN and the Global Model WHO Conference. Her work spans strategic planning, team leadership, and communications, with a focus on building inclusive narratives and empowering young leaders. With a Master’s in International Management specializing in strategy and communication, Michelle brings an interdisciplinary lens that bridges psychology, the arts, and business. She is passionate about storytelling as a tool for connection and leadership development, and her work reflects a commitment to making global education initiatives both impactful and accessible.
Hyunji Jo
Junior Consultant

Hyunji Jo

Hyunji Jo is a Junior Consultant at WFUNA’s Seoul Office. Her role is to develop and coordinate education programs. In 2018, she founded a social cooperative dedicated to educating students about global citizenship. Based on this experience, she studied how ‘global citizenship education’ became the global agenda-SDGs goal 4.7 in graduate school. She holds a master’s degree in International Relations from Yonsei University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in IR. Before joining WFUNA, Hyunji was a coordinator for the ‘Campus Asia-AIMS(Asian International Mobility for Students)’ program, facilitating cross-cultural academic exchanges.

Global Citizenship Consultant

Georgina Kominovska

Georgina Kominovska is the Global Citizenship Consultant at WFUNA, where she develops and delivers programs that promote global citizenship, multilateral cooperation, and meaningful youth participation in the UN system. She first joined WFUNA as the European Youth Advisor in 2023 and has since worked to strengthen youth voices in policy dialogues, training, and international education. A certified Youth, Peace and Security (YPS) Trainer, Georgina is also a member of the UN Youth Consultative Board in North Macedonia, the U.S. Embassy Youth Council, and the United Nations Association of North Macedonia. Her experience spans project management and peacebuilding affairs in the Balkan context, coupled with an academic background in International Relations and Psychology from several European countries. Driven by a deep commitment to strengthening youth involvement in the multilateral system, Georgina continues to promote education, dialogue, and opportunities that prepare the next generation of leaders to engage with the United Nations and tackle global challenges.

Yeonji Lee

Yeonji Lee is the Design Consultant at WFUNA’s Seoul Office. She creates designs that are consistent with WFUNA’s branding to promote its direction and purpose. She majored in Visual Design and has extensive experience through working in various environments from design agencies to corporate brand design, global magazine design, and IT startups.
Ida Marchese
Communications Consultant

Ida Marchese

Ida brings a strong background in Health Sciences, Biomedical Communications, strategic communications, social media management, and knowledge translation to her role with WFUNA. She has led communications across international and nonprofit spaces, including serving as Director of Communications for the Global Model WHO 2024 and Public Information Officer for the WIMUN New York conferences in 2025 and 2026. Beyond multilateral settings, Ida is an Executive Board Member and Co-Head of Marketing for the Women’s Nonprofit Network, where she advances advocacy and outreach initiatives. She has also contributed communications expertise to organizations such as UNITE 2030, the University of Toronto, and the Centre for Vaccine Preventable Diseases. Certified in Knowledge Translation from The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), Ida is passionate about making complex ideas accessible and engaging through human-centered storytelling. Drawing on her interdisciplinary training, she works at the intersection of health, communications, and global development to amplify diverse voices, build inclusive platforms, and foster dialogue across borders. Through her multidisciplinary experience in research, community engagement, and digital communications, Ida continues to support organizations in strengthening their impact and reach on issues ranging from health equity and sustainable development to youth engagement.
