WIMUN Announces Fall Online Conference

Due to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the WIMUN team has decided to move our award-winning WIMUN Geneva conference online scheduled to take place from 30 October – 8 November.
WIMUN has just finished up our Summer Online Simulation series, and we are happy to announce it was a huge success! The Summer Online Simulation series featured multiple committees including the simulation of the Security Council, Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, Intergovernmental Negotiations on Security Council Reform, and the General Assembly. Simulating topics ranging from the smuggling of migrants to the elimination of terrorism, we had delegates from over 50 countries register, making this WIMUN series one of the most diverse to date! Thank you to our many participants for their involvement and diligence in our program over the last three months. WIMN is now bringing, consensus, high-level training, and real UN experts to the safety of your home. Knowing the success of our online program, we plan to further utilize this platform in the future.
That being said, due to the current and ongoing impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the WIMUN team has decided to move our award-winning WIMUN Geneva conference online. True to our mission, WIMUN will continue to provide the most accurate simulation of the UN through our Fall Online Conference, scheduled to take place from 30 October – 8 November. Online simulations will take place over two weekends (31 October – 1 November and 7-8 November) with a wide variety of optional side events during the week (2-6 November). We will be announcing a detailed schedule of the online conference along with exciting side events soon on our website and social media platforms. We are excited to bring our world famous, UN accurate simulations and councils to you, no matter where in the world you are!
We look forward to providing all the same opportunities to interact with others around the world and with UN experts during the simulation and many side events we are planning for you. We plan to resume our face to face conferences once the Pandemic is under control. But in the meantime, we will leverage technology to bring you a unique experience, unlike any Model UN conference you have experienced before!
