Athens, Greece – On October 21, 2016 Bonian Golmohammadi, Secretary-General of WFUNA signeda Memorandum of Understanding betweenWFUNA and the Hellenic American Educational Foundation (HAEF) which is one of the oldest and most prominent educational institutions in Greece. Consistent with both WFUNA’s and HAEF’s principles and values the partnership aims at providing the participants with the necessary framework of interpretation to understand contemporary challenges while cultivating the ideals that contribute to forging global citizenship.
The new partnership will allow the participation of Greek middle and high school students in the “Training Programs at the United Nations” thus expanding a Greek segment of WFUNA’s successful educational programming. The Youth Training Program at the UN: Greece will begin in March 2017 with the participation of a first group of students that will have been selected by the Psychico College and will have followed the compulsory course in preparation of the training.
