GENEVA – On April 27-28, 2018, leaders from United Nations Associations (UNAs) around the world who are elected as our current Executive Committee met in Geneva for two days for the 218th Executive Committee meeting. Members discussed the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals, ongoing activities of the World Federation of United Nations Associations and national UNAs, and prepared for the upcoming 43rd Plenary Assembly.
The Executive Committee also released a statement on the historic Inter-Korean Summit Meeting at Panmunjom on 27 April, 2018 and its outcome announced in the Panmunjom Declaration for Peace, Prosperity, and Unification of the Korean Peninsula by the leaders of the two Koreas.
