In an effort to provide Koreans seeking to work for international organizations with up-to-date and useful information, the “15th International Career Fair: Exploring Career Opportunities in the UN and International Organizations” hosted by the Republic of Korea Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Seoul Metropolitan Government, and sponsored by the World Federation of United Nations Associations was held at Seoul Startup Hub on October 12th.
The career fair was attended by human resources officers at major international organizations, including the UN Secretariat, World Food Programme (WFP), UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), UN Population Fund (UNFPA), UN Volunteers (UNV) to explain the organizations’ recruitment and HR systems, major responsibilities, and how to prepare a UN resume, and followed by a question-and-answer session.
