As the next generation of leaders, youth are uniquely positioned to tackle critical human rights issues that affect countless individuals and families around the world. Recognizing this, WFUNA established the Human Rights Training Program – an initiative dedicated to providing young people from different countries and backgrounds with the training they need to effectively engage with the international human rights system and act as educators and advocates for human rights issues.
We are currently raising funds to sponsor a student for next year’s training who, despite having the talent and commitment to make a difference, would be unable to attend due to financial constraints. $1500 will completely cover the cost for a student from a developing country to attend the program, after which they will bring the skills and knowledge attained there home and use them to the benefit of their communities and countries.
