STOCKHOLM – A cooperation agreement was signed between the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) and the Global Diversity Certification Foundation (GDCF) last week Friday, 1 February 2013, by their executive officers to collaborate on the engagement of corporations to work with diversity issues.

“With our corporate contacts and WFUNA’s human rights expertise, we believe we can promote diversity effectively, ” said Mr. Farzam Nazerian, CEO of the Global Diversity Certification Foundation. Likewise, Mr. Bonian Golmohammadi, Secretary-General of WFUNA, says that “Diversity in the context of human rights is part of our core business. Our agreement with GDCF is an important step for us to engage companies in innovative ways.”

This program of training and certification for companies has been developed and will launch in February.
