NEW YORK – As the 68th session of the General Assembly kicks off this week, the United Nations Department of Public Information has released “It’s Your General Assembly” videos as a trailer for the annual general debate, where heads of state and high national officials from all 193 member countries discuss the most pertinent international issues. We can certainly expect world leaders, such as U.S. President Barack Obama, to address the conflict in Syria as well as the development agenda for the post-2015 era.
General debates run from Tuesday, September 24 through Tuesday, October 1 and can be streamed live at UN Live TV.
