The first AI-SDGs Camp was organized in Daegu, Republic of Korea from December 2022 to January 2023 to bridge digital divide and empower youth digital capabilities with the common goal of SDGs.
This program was co-organized with Daegu National University of Education and Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity as one of the ‘Digital Sprout Camp’ sponsored by the ROK Ministry of Education under the three themes: “Affordable and clean energy”, “Decent work and Economic growth”, “Responsible consumption and production”.
Based on 4-week education and practice on artificial intelligence (digital tools), SDGs, and global citizenship, more than 250 students, teachers, and parents from elementary and Middle schools in Daegu-Kyeongbuk region participated the final presentation, held on January 18th, 10 teams received honorable awards.
