Candidates
Giovanna Lopes dos Santos
Giovanna Lopes is 18 years old and lives in Brazil. Since 2019, she has participated in more than 15 Model UN simulations, as staff, delegate, vice-chair, chair, and Secretary General. She already has experience in WIMUN and at the ILO. Now she studies International Politics. Giovanna is intrigued by the allocation of rights in the world such as the ones stated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. As a person who perceives inequality every day in São Paulo, she wants to develop capabilities in politics to help these people and change their lives.

Elsie Lamb
In her final semester, Elsie tackles the intersection of global affairs and business dynamics, pursuing a dual degree in International Relations and Business. Her passion lies in instigating meaningful change internationally, particularly in reshaping international sustainability practices within the business sphere. Elsie brings a wealth of experience, having interned with an AI Research Firm in the Asia Pacific, a Social Enterprise Firm, and a Strategic Communications Firm facilitating collaboration between the Australian Defence Force and the Australian Government. She is dedicated to engaging in progressive initiatives and aims to shape a future characterised by inclusivity, sustainability, and forward-thinking principles.

Yewayi Mushaya
Through her educational journey, Yewayi has been exposed to various collaborative environments, granting her the opportunity to engage closely with large communities of individuals through academics and extra-curriculars. Thanks to these opportunities, Yewayi has been able to develop effective communication skills, as she prides herself on being approachable and a friendly face to encounter. From being captain of her sporting teams to obtaining executive positions within her university social committees, Yewayi has been able to navigate herself professionally within high-pressure and conflict-prone environments. In situations of uncertainty, Yewayi has learned to retain composure and, regardless, always give her best effort.

Konrad Pawel Nawrotek
Konrad Nawrotek is studying law, international relations and management at the American Law Center. He studied under the Erasmus program at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He actively participates and presents papers in Polish and German scientific conferences.
He plays three instruments: piano, harpsichord and bassoon. He also likes to sing, and does it very well both solo and in the choir. He composes music on his own, creates melodies and writes words to them. He is a member of the national horse dressage team. He has loved spending holidays in the USA: California, Miami, but he loves New York the most.
