WFUNA SG visits UNA-Italy

ROME – WFUNA Secretary-General Bonian Golmohammadi visited UNA-Italy, also known as SIOI (Societa’ Italiana dell’Organizzazione Internazionale), in Rome, Italy on 3-4 June 2013. 

The Secretary-General was welcomed by UNA-Italy’s President, Hon. Franco Frattini, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy, and his team, led by Dr. Sara Cavelli, Director General at UNA-Italy. Several meetings were held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Rome based UN institutions, and the City of Rome.

WFUNA’s first International Model UN, to be held in Rome in partnership with UNA-Italy in the summer of 2014, along with other future joint projects, were discussed. 

UNA-Italy / SIOI was founded in 1944 and is a founding member of WFUNA.
