Global Model UN Singapore 2026 Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

Global Model UN Singapore welcomes youth between the age of 14 and 30 from North America, Europe, Asia, South America, Africa, and Oceania who have experience in Model UN or have high interest in global affairs and the United Nations.

Delegate participants must be enrolled in a high school, university, grad school, or be a recent graduate under the age of 30.

High school and university level conferences will operate separately with the exception of Opening and Closing Ceremony/Plenary, and the Global Experience.

University or high school delegates may register as part of a group or as an individual. High school delegates must be accompanied by a chaperone regardless of whether that register as part of a group or as an individual.

Global Model UN Singapore also welcomes advisors who have a role in planning and organizing a MUN conferences and teachers who use Model UN in their education curriculum. High school groups are required to be accompanied by at least one faculty advisor.

Registration Periods

All registrations are accepted on a first come, first served basis. Once maximum capacity is reached, Delegates will be placed on a waitlist.

Early registration period is February 28, 2026.

Priority registration period is May 31, 2026.

Regular registration period is June 30, 2026.

Registration Types and Fees

The fee for high school or university delegates is $289 for all Registration Periods, with a $20 MyMUN fee on top, making the full amount USD $309.

The fee for faculty advisors is $189 for all Registration Periods, with a $10 MyMUN fee on top, making the full amount USD $199.

The fee for observers is $209 for all Registration Periods, with a $10 MyMUN fee on top, making the full amount USD $219.

Early Registration

Deadline: 31 August 2026

Early Registration is recommended for participants who wish to maximize their preparation and access to exclusive pre-conference opportunities.

• Early Simulation Preference – Receive priority consideration when indicating your preferred simulation before assignments are finalized.
• Early Assignment Preference – Receive your committee and country assignment before Regular Registration participants, allowing additional preparation time.
• Early Hotel Allocation – Receive priority consideration during conference hotel room allocation, subject to availability.
• Exclusive Q&A with WFUNA Staff – Access an exclusive virtual session with WFUNA staff to ask questions about conference preparation, logistics, and the broader work of the organization.
• Special Talks with UN Youth Staff – Attend two (2) exclusive virtual sessions featuring young professionals working within the United Nations system, sharing insights into their careers, journey and experiences.
• Application Excellence Scholarship Eligibility – Early Registration participants may apply for the Application Excellence Scholarship, a merit-based award recognizing delegates who demonstrate exceptional applications.
• All benefits available during Priority and Regular Registration.

Priority Registration

Deadline: 31 October 2026

Priority Registration offers additional preparation benefits before the conference while providing the full conference experience.

• UN Careers Session – Participate in an exclusive career development session featuring senior United Nations professionals discussing careers in diplomacy and international organizations.
• Priority Simulation Preference – Receive priority consideration when indicating your preferred simulation before assignments are finalized.
• Priority Assignment Preference – Receive your committee and country assignment before Regular Registration participants, allowing additional preparation time.
• Priority Hotel Allocation – Receive priority consideration during conference hotel room allocation, subject to availability.
• Fast Track On-Site Registration – Access a dedicated check-in line at the conference venue to reduce waiting times upon arrival.
• All benefits available during Regular Registration.

Regular Registration

Deadline: 5 December 2026

Regular Registration provides access to the complete conference experience and all core conference resources.

• Conference Participation – Full participation in all official conference activities, including committee sessions, ceremonies, and scheduled events.
• Training Sessions – Access to all official pre-conference training sessions designed to prepare delegates for the conference.
• Preparation Materials – Access to conference preparation resources, including committee background guides, delegate handbook, and supporting materials.
• Certificate of Participation – Receive an official Certificate of Participation by the World Federation of the United Nations Associations upon successful completion of the conference.

Payment

All fees must be paid by June 1, 2026 for them to qualify for Global Model UN Singapore 2026. Payments can be done by credit card through MyMUN or request invoice through [email protected]. 

All fees are non-refundable.

Visa

Upon request, delegates who have completed the registration process will be issued a Letter of Invitation from WFUNA confirming their participation at Global Model UN Singapore after a background check. Registrants may use the Letter of Invitation in their visa acquisition process.

WFUNA will not provide Visa Letters and is not responsible for any participant’s visa into Singapore. It is the participant’s responsibility to secure the necessary documentation to enter Singapore. WFUNA will not issue refunds for delegates who are unable to secure a visa.

Privacy and Intellectual Property

Global Model UN Singapore reserves the right to utilize all data submitted by individuals to WIMUN Singapore and to take photographs and videos during the conference and social events without limitations.

All registrants agree that no data, results, and materials for use in WIMUN Singapore 2026 will be disseminated by means of publications, reports, conferences, or any other form without the express written consent from WFUNA of which these products, data, results, and materials are its exclusive property.

WFUNA and WIMUN Singapore reserves the right to update and change information on the official website, conference program, and social media platforms without further notice.

Code of Conduct

Registrants hereby certify that all information submitted during the registration process is truthful and accurate. The registrant understands that falsification of any information provided will disqualify him or her from participation in Global Model and future WFUNA activities, and falsification of information or impersonation of other individuals will result in legal actions.

Participants agree that all materials produced for this conference will be original work. Plagiarism will not be tolerated at Global Model, and should the Global Model Secretariat discover instances of plagiarism, we reserve the right to take appropriate actions, including disqualification from the conference.

Participants are expected and obliged to obey the laws of Singapore while participating in Global Model. Participants are personally responsible for all charges and damage to facilities used to host the conference and social events.

Participants understand and acknowledge that WFUNA, and its members, officers, elected representatives and employees, including the Global Model student Secretariat team, do not assume any responsibility or liability for their conduct and activities during the conference.

Participants agree to accept and abide by the WFUNA Code of Conduct published in the Conference Handbook.
