Ida Marchese
Ida is a public health graduate student and global youth leader with experience across multilateral education, youth engagement, communications, and health equity. She has supported WFUNA’s Global Model UN and Global Model WHO programming in several senior leadership capacities, including as Secretary-General for WIMUN Singapore 2025, Director-General for Global Model WHO 2025, Director of Communications for Global Model WHO 2024 at the World Health Organization Headquarters in Geneva, and Public Information Officer for WIMUN New York 2025 and 2026.
Her work is grounded in a deep commitment to making global affairs more accessible, inclusive, and meaningful for young people. Across her academic and professional experiences, Ida has contributed to initiatives focused on public health, gender equity, youth leadership, knowledge mobilization, and community-based advocacy. She is especially passionate about creating spaces where young leaders can build confidence, strengthen their diplomatic skills, and see themselves as active contributors to the future of multilateralism.
As Secretary-General, Ida is honoured to welcome delegates to New York City and to help shape a conference experience rooted in learning, collaboration, and humanity.

Andreas Papadopoulos
Andreas recently graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Nicosia. He has a strong background in events management and leadership. For more than two years, he served as Events Officer at the University’s Events Office. In 2024, he founded the first-ever University of Nicosia Model United Nations (UNIC MUN), a conference that was met with great success, attracting over 150 participants from nearly 20 countries. Beyond UNIC MUN, Andreas has participated in numerous conferences across Cyprus, Greece, and other European countries, both as a speaker and organizer. He has represented the University of Nicosia and the Republic of Cyprus at several international summits in Brussels, Strasbourg, and other locations. Andreas has extensive experience working with international teams, as he was involved in projects taking place in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Czech Republic and more. Reprising his role from Global Model UN Singapore 2026, he has also served as Assistant-Secretary-General for Meetings and Publishing in WIMUN New York 2026. For his re-appearance in New York, Andreas is dedicated to helping create an inspiring and memorable conference for all participants.

Ana Paulina Acosta Aguilar
Ana Paulina Acosta is a graphic designer based in Mexico, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, a minor in Animation, and a Master’s degree in Cultural Management. She currently works as a Graphic Designer at a marketing agency, where she develops visual communication strategies through branding, editorial design, photography, and digital content creation.
Her passion for visual storytelling has led her to explore how design can make information more engaging, accessible, and impactful. Through both her professional work and creative projects, she has developed a strong interest in the intersection of design, education, and community engagement, particularly in using visual communication to foster inclusion and meaningful connections.
Paulina has served as Assistant-Secretary-General for Global Communications in WIMUN New York 2026, and is glad to be back. She looks forward to contributing her creative perspective and communication expertise to initiatives that strengthen global communication and collaboration.
Under-Secretary-General for Policy
Bianca Silveira Ferreira
Bianca Silveira Ferreira is a Brazilian international student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and Political Science, with a concentration in Global Economics and a minor in French at Temple University, in Philadelphia. She will serve as Under-Secretary-General for Policy for Global Model UN New York 2027 as well as Global Model FAO 2027, building on her experience as a delegate, vice-chair, chair, and Assistant-Secretary-General for Policy in past Global Model conferences. She also works with Global Model conferences in her internship as a Model UN Program Assistant for WFUNA. Beyond Model UNs, Bianca is actively involved in her university, where she works as an Ambassador to the College of Liberal Arts. She also has a background in education, and has taught English as a Second Language, both in Brazil and in the United States, for five years. Bianca aspires to build an international career at the intersection of poverty reduction and Latin American studies. She looks forward to combining her extensive experience in Model UN and education to the work of the Policy team and to the simulations it organizes.

Adam Jan Turner
Adam Jan Turner from the Czech Republic recently graduated with an MSc in Political Science: European and International Governance from Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), building on a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations. During his studies, he gained experience through internships with the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic, IOM Czechia, and the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Berlin. He also volunteers with the Platform for International Cooperation on Undocumented Migrants (PICUM), contributing to projects on migration and human rights in Europe. Adam joined the Global Model UN Secretariat as a Conference Management Officer for the WIMUN New York 2026 conference and returned in the same role for Global Model UN Singapore 2026. These experiences gave him the opportunity to work closely with the Secretariat and contribute to the planning and delivery of two international conferences. He is excited to return to New York as the Assistant Secretary-General for Central Planning. He looks forward to supporting the Secretariat throughout the preparation of the conference and helping create a memorable experience for participants from around the world.

Siddhant Agarwal
Siddhant Agarwal is a third-year student at the National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS), Kolkata, pursuing an integrated degree in Law and Arts. Since 2018, he has been actively involved in Model United Nations conferences across South Asia, marking nearly a decade of engagement with global diplomacy and student leadership. He was recognised by various United Nations forums for his grassroots-level aid efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic. Over the years, his interests have evolved to encompass International Relations, with a particular focus on International Law and its role in promoting global security. He has shown a demonstrably keen interest in Moot Courts. He was part of the team that ranked 9th in the general rounds at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Hong Kong in 2025 and was awarded the Best Overall Memorial at the Oxford Monroe E. Price Media Law Moot South Asia Rounds. Siddhant was part of Global Model UN Singapore 2026 as well as WIMUN New York 2026 and is glad to be back. Passionate about team-driven initiatives and institutional development, he looks forward to being back at New York again to be a part of a wonderful conference.

Aurélien Driesen
Aurélien is a creative professional and videographer born in Belgium. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Advertising, Commercial Communication, and Marketing.
Alongside his studies, Aurélien works as an independent filmmaker. He regularly collaborates on various commercial campaigns, where he enjoys the process of combining technical video skills with strategic communication to help develop impactful visual identities.
His journey with Global Model UN started at the WIMUN New York 2026 conference, where he served as a Public Information Officer. He then reprised his role in Global Model UN Singapore 2026 and became lead videographer in Global Model FAO 2026. Building on that first-hand experience behind the camera, Aurélien is grateful to return for the 2027 edition as the Assistant Secretary-General for Global Communications.
He looks forward to using his creative background to support his team and highlight the visual storytelling of the upcoming conference.

Max Rothe van Deventer
Max is pursuing a Master’s of Public Administration with Honours at Leiden University (Netherlands). His research interests lie at the intersection of international relations, digital technology, and policy. Max has been fascinated by diplomacy from a young age and has gained hands-on experience in an Embassy setting. His involvement with MUN began in 2018, and has since participated in and organized several local and international-level conferences across the US, Europe, and Asia. He also leads the Global Affairs and Poltiics Team at the 18th Harvard German American Conference.

Ty-Thomas Armando Flores
Ty is an undergraduate student at Towson University majoring in political science with a focus in international relations. In his studies he focuses on how states interact with each other and how they interact with international organizations like the United Nations. He had previously interned within his state government, working directly with leaders, helping them make key policy achievements. Ty is also dedicated to giving back to his community, particularly helping young Model U.N. students prepare and study for upcoming conferences. Ty is excited to be part of the Policy team again with Global Model UN and can’t wait to meet everyone and have a great conference!

Karla Daniela Lara Chavez
Karla is a recent graduate in International Relations, having earned her Bachelor’s degree as Valedictorian of her class. Having grown up between Mexico and the United States, she developed an early appreciation for diverse perspectives and international dialogue. With over a decade of involvement in Model United Nations, she has participated in conferences across Mexico and internationally. Passionate about education and diplomacy, she has worked with educational institutions and international Model United Nations programs to prepare students and delegations through academic training and mentorship. These experiences have strengthened her belief in the power of education to foster critical thinking, collaboration, and international understanding. She looks forward to contributing her experience in international relations and education to support a memorable conference experience for all.

Lilika Jane Yamada
Lilika is a Bachelor of Laws and International Relations student at Bond University, Australia, currently undertaking an 11-month language, study, and internship program in South Korea through the Australian Government’s New Colombo Plan Scholarship.
Passionate about international affairs and multilateral cooperation, she has led university delegations to MUN conferences in the United States and Japan, participated in youth forums in South Korea, and served as Secretary-General of Bond University’s 10th Anniversary High School MUN. Through roles with the Queensland Law Reform Commission, My Community Legal Centre, and Bond University’s Internet Law Clinic, she has developed a strong interest in public policy.
Alongside her role as Assistant-Secretary-General for Policy for Global MUN New York 2027, Lilika served as a Chair for Global Model UN Singapore 2026. She is passionate about supporting youth engagement in multilateral dialogue and looks forward to helping delegates collaborate effectively to reach consensus.

Fareedat Opeifa Adewodun
Fareedat Opeifa studied Medicine and Surgery at Nile University of Nigeria and is a global health advocate and youth development professional with experience in global health, youth engagement, programme operations, and international conference coordination. She has worked with organizations including the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA), the World Health Organization (WHO), IFMSA, and UN SDSN Youth Nigeria. She currently serves as Partnerships Assistant at WFUNA, Assistant to the IFMSA Liaison Officer to the WHO, Policy Commission Officer (Meaningful Youth Engagement) at IFMSA, and Director of Programme and Operations at UN SDSN Youth Nigeria.
She served as Secretary-General of the inaugural Nigerian Medical Students’ Association Model United Nations (NIMSA-MUN), leading committee management, delegate operations, and conference logistics. Her journey with WFUNA Model UN began as a delegate at Global Model WHO 2025, where she was selected for the WHO Youth Drafting Group on Social Connection. She later joined the Conference Management team for Global Model UN Singapore 2026, further developing her experience in international conference coordination. As a Conference Management Officer for Global Model UN New York, she brings a delegate-informed perspective and a strong focus on effective coordination and seamless conference delivery.
She is passionate about youth empowerment, education, and global health. She holds a Diploma in International Environmental Law and Governance from the United Nations Environment Programme and is a Fellow of the Aspire Leadership Program, a Millennium Fellow, and an Emerging Leader with LEAP Africa.

Moustafa Ashour
Moustafa Ashour is an Egyptian student studying Business Analytics & AI at American University in Washington DC. Moustafa will serve as a Conference Management Officer at the Global Model United Nations 2027 conference in New York City. Moustafa has extensive experience in Marketing and leadership. His experiences include being a content creator with 240,000 followers and running a non profit marketing agency. Moustafa has also served as Vice President of the CAS Undergraduate council at American University, Student government associate elections administrator, and president of Friends of Schutz, where he hosted a shark tank with an actual shark judge from Shark Tank Egypt in the panel. Moustafa has completed multiple programs including the Dartmouth College Fundamentals of Digital Transformation, and the Mckinsey & Company Forward Program. In his free time, Moustafa loves playing tennis, as well as filming social media content. In Model United Nations, Moustafa has worked in logistics, media, and even participated as both a delegate and a chair. Moustafa is looking forward to joining the Global Model UN New York 2027 team as a Conference Management Officer in hopes of helping make the experience a memorable one to all participants.

Vyacheslav Bakanov
Vyacheslav Bakanov is a first year Law & Politics student at Queen Mary’s University London. He was born in Cyprus, with Ukrainian and Russian heritage, where he completed his primary and secondary education, and where he was first introduced to MUNs. His favourite position within conferences is by far logistics, which he can say for sure after having participated in every capacity from Secretary General to Media Team Member. Vyacheslav has successfully spent the last 4 years organising conferences across Cyprus, including founding his own conference, which annually attracts 200+ students, from across Europe. Outside of MUNs, he is active within the local Cycling and Padel communities, as well as policy advocacy on the side. He is very much looking forward to contributing to the organising of the Global Model UN New York 2027, and is very excited to be part of the team.

Alexander Dietz
Alex is a PhD researcher at the Department of Public Health at Erasmus University Medical Center in Rotterdam, one of Europe’s leading centres for cancer screening research, where he works on lung cancer screening and prevention across the European Union.
He came to public health through engineering, with a master’s in Engineering and Policy Analysis at TU Delft. A traineeship on health policy at the European Commission showed him how much policy depends on the evidence available at the time, and that is what brought him back into research.
Outside his research, Alex works on making Model United Nations more accessible. Over eight years and more than 30 conferences across three continents, he has been a delegate, chair, organizer and advisor. Today he runs mymun, the world’s largest MUN platform with more than 400,000 users, built on the vision that every student should experience at least one MUN. On the extended board of the Aurel Steinert Foundation, he brings MUN into public schools across Germany, so that taking part does not depend on which school a student attends.
Both sides of his work run on the same two skills, thinking in systems and building consensus. Alex is excited to welcome you at Global Model UN New York 2027.

Nada Elmahy
Nada Elmahy is an Egyptian law graduate from The British University in Egypt and London South Bank University, where she graduated with First-Class Honours. She currently serves as President of the Debate Society at BUE, mentors young professionals through the UNDP Global Mentorship Programme, and contributes to a range of regional and international initiatives focused on youth empowerment, sustainable development, and legal innovation.
As a published legal researcher, moot court advocate, and coach, she enjoys bringing people together and creating opportunities for young people to learn from one another. Her international engagement includes serving as a MUN delegate, contributing as a Research Fellow representing Egypt in the COP30 Fellowship, and supporting the organization of COP27. Alongside her leadership experience, Nada has gained practical experience with leading international law firms and financial regulatory authorities, including the Central Bank of Egypt.

Agniprabho Ganguly
Agniprabho Ganguly is a third-year student at the National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS) in West Bengal, pursuing a BSc.LLB. degree. He has taken part in organizing multiple events in his college to much success and satisfaction, such as his university’s flagship fest, Outlawed and Invicta. He was also part of the team which had organized the first Judgment Writing Competition in India, hosted by NUJS. He has also interned under various eminent lawyers and jurists such as Retd. Justice Ashim Kumar Ray, Senior Advocate Milon Mukherjee, Senior Advocate Sabyasachi Banerjee, Advocate Dipanjan Dutt, and Advocate Manaswita Mukherjee. He has an interest in Constitutional Law and International Law, particularly in Antarctic treaties, and in Comparative Constitutional Analysis, although he is equally proficient in questions of Criminal Law. However, when he is not working, he likes to practice photography, and historical swordfighting, under the guidance of Master David Rawlings under the London Longsword Academy. He is most elated to be a part of the secretariat in the Global Model UN New York 2027, and is hoping that his skills and experience would be able to ensure the smooth functioning of the event.

Irha Hassan
Irha Hassan is an Economics and Political Science student at the University of Toronto Mississauga with a passion for public policy, storytelling, and bringing people together. Originally from Pakistan, she believes some of the most meaningful conversations happen when people from different backgrounds share the same table, and Model United Nations has been one of her favourite places to make that happen.
On campus, Irha serves as Vice President of Internal Affairs for the University of Toronto Mississauga Model United Nations, Vice President of Current Affairs for the Political Science Student Association, Residence Assistant and a Media & Communications Assistant with the University’s Office of Communications & Public Affairs. Whether she’s planning events, creating content, or coordinating behind the scenes, she loves turning ideas into experiences that leave a lasting impact.
Her MUN journey has taken her through nearly every role imaginable. Along the way, she’s discovered that while resolutions are important, it’s the friendships, late-night committee conversations, and unforgettable moments that truly define every conference.Outside of MUN, you’ll probably find Irha exploring new cafés, filming content, cheering on a cricket match, or convincing herself that buying one more notebook will finally make her more organized.

Dragoș-Alexandru Ioniță
Dragoș Ioniță is a graduate student in International Security at Sciences Po Paris, pursuing a dual degree with Peking University in Beijing, China, with a minor in Global Risks focused on East Asia-Europe relations. He previously studied International Relations and European Studies at the University of Bucharest and was awarded the Robert Schuman Essay Contest Prize by the European Parliament in 2025 for his essay on youth engagement in EU security policy.
Dragoș’s experience spans the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, the Asia-Europe Foundation’s Anticipatory Leadership Programme, and Modern Diplomacy, where he published policy analyses on security and geopolitics across East Asia and the Americas. He is also an active youth leader, serving as Chair of the Youth Leadership Council at the Global Fund for Children. Dragoș is looking forward to serving as Conference Management Officer for Global Model UN New York 2027, bringing his combination of policy experience and organisational leadership to the team.

Felix Massey
Felix is a 21-year old British student, currently studying Politics and International Relations at the University of Exeter, and will serve as a Conference Management Officer for Global Model UN New York 2027! Recently he spent a year on exchange at the University of Mannheim in Germany, developing a problematic fondness for Käsespätzle and Maultaschen. Outside of academics, Felix has been serving for the last two years as an elected Chair of the Exeter Debating Union, hosting prominent speakers ranging from the Brazilian Ambassador to the UK to a Nobel Peace Prize nominee, as well as refining his public speaking ability. In addition, he has been doing Model UN for over three years, including chairing positions at several UK & international conferences as well as being appointed Under-Secretary-General of External Relations at HultMUN 2024. He spends his free time mostly travelling, collecting vinyl records, creating concerningly eccentric Spotify playlists, and dragging his friends and family to music festivals. As a CMO, he is very much looking forward to meeting everyone in New York and helping things run smoothly behind the scenes!

Valentina Morales
Valentina Morales is an Argentinian student in Transatlantic Affairs at the College of Europe in Belgium and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in the United States. She also holds a master’s in European Union law from Paris II Assas and a bachelor’s in Economics, Politics and Law from Dublin City University. Passionate about environmental and climate justice, Valentina has worked on those topics in different institutions like the EU Delegation to the United States, the Argentinian Embassy in France and the EuropeanSpace Agency. As a Conference Management Officer, she hopes to meet new people and engage more with the UN world. She is very invested in different environmental societies and wishes to learn from other youth and cultures about their vision of the world on those topics.

Navindu Ralapanawe
Navindu Ralapanawe, born in Sri Lanka and raised in the United States, will be serving as a Conference Management Officer (CMO) for Global Model UN New York 2027. He is a graduate of Rutgers University–New Brunswick, where he earned a degree in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. Navindu previously interned at the Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka to the United Nations, where he supported diplomatic work and contributed to processes related to UN resolutions and international policy discussions. He has also worked alongside New York-based non-profit organizations focused on mental health advocacy and community engagement, reinforcing his commitment to public service and international cooperation. Since joining the Secretariat of Global Model UN in 2025, Navindu has supported conferences in both New York and Singapore, gaining experience in conference management and delegate engagement. He is excited to return to Global Model UN New York 2027, where he looks forward to helping deliver an engaging conference experience and connecting with delegates from around the world who share a passion for diplomacy, dialogue, and global affairs.

Farah Rothe van Deventer
Farah Rothe van Deventer is a student completing her bachelors degree at the University of Michigan. Outside of academics, she works with various student and independent organizations to lead and execute events, exhibitions, and messaging campaigns. She is interested in effective information and product design for international audiences. As a Conference Management Officer, she is excited to join a strong organizational team, and looking forward to helping conference participants and staff have the best experience possible.

Letícia Alberti Severo
Leticia Alberti Severo is a Brazilian student who recently earned an Associate of Science degree from Kent State University and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in International and Globalization Studies and Political Science and Government. Passionate about international affairs, she enjoys meeting people from different backgrounds and believes that every conversation is an opportunity to learn something new.
Throughout her Model United Nations journey, Leticia has participated in national and international conferences as both a delegate and a member of conference leadership teams. Serving in conference management roles showed her that her favorite place is behind the scenes, where she can help turn months of planning into a meaningful experience for hundreds of delegates. She enjoys the fast pace of organizing events, working closely with a team, and finding solutions whenever challenges arise.
Outside of logistics, what Leticia values most about Model UN is the opportunity to connect with people. She loves exchanging ideas, hearing different perspectives, and learning how culture shapes the way people see the world.

Shireen Sumir
Shireen Sumir is a third-year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) student at the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS), Kolkata. She has been involved in Model United Nations since school, participating in conferences as both a delegate and a member of conference secretariats. Over the years, MUN has become one of her favourite spaces to engage with global issues, exchange ideas, and meet people from diverse backgrounds. Academically, Shireen is interested in law, policy, and international affairs. She has interned with advocates and law firms, experiences that have strengthened her interest in legal research and public affairs. Ivana Solís
Ivana Isabel Solís Mata is a third-year law student at Universidad Anáhuac Mayab in Mexico and holds a Minor in Politics and International Cooperation. She currently works in the Legal Department at JL Asesores, where she provides legal support in advisory services and the insurance sector. Through her professional experience, she has developed expertise across multiple legal fields, gaining a multidisciplinary perspective on legal practice. Ivana serves as President of the SDG Student Hub at Universidad Anáhuac Mayab and has held leadership roles within the university’s Model United Nations community. Internationally, she was selected as a Conference Management Officer for the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) at WIMUN New York 2026 and now Global Model UN New York 2027. Patience Harriet NK Titus-Glover
Harriet is a recent graduate of the University of Ghana, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and French. Driven by her passion for international relations and global affairs, she has actively engaged in the Model United Nations community, first serving as a Vice Chair and later as a Delegate at Global Model UN (formerly WIMUN). She currently serves as an intern at the Parliament of Ghana, specifically at the Parliamentary Training Institute, where she has gained hands-on experience supporting the planning and coordination of trainings, seminars, and conferences involving Members of Parliament, international participants, and parliamentary staff. Having experienced the impact of Global Model UN from different perspectives, Harriet considers it an honour to serve as a Conference Management Officer and is excited to help create the same meaningful experience for delegates from around the world.

Athena Zhiyi Wang
Athena Wang, from Singapore, will be serving as your Conference Management Officer (CMO). Athena is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Jurisprudence (Law) at the University of Oxford, where she is President of the Lincoln College Law Society and an active committee member of the Oxford Law Society. Ever since Athena was introduced to Model UN in middle school, it has held a special place in her heart. The combination of collaboration, communication, and creativity in fast-paced debate has never ceased to enthral her. Athena has since joined more than ten international conferences in various capacities — from being a delegate, to serving as Chair, Deputy Secretary-General, and finally Secretary-General. Outside of MUN, Athena was a student researcher at the Cambridge Centre for International Research, where she examined the bargaining model of war and applied it to real-world conflicts. She has also competed in National Speech & Debate Associations (NSDA) tournaments and trained students as the President of Debate Club. Athena is excited to reprise her role as a CMO, continuing from her experience at Global Model UN Singapore 2026. At New York, she hopes to create an environment where intellectual stimulation and inclusive dialogue thrive, paving a path to global advancement.

Luís is a Brazilian graduate in International Relations, with a minor in Diplomacy and Area Studies, from Universidade Portucalense in Porto, Portugal. Fluent in five languages, Portuguese, English, Spanish, Italian, and French, he has built his path around global engagement, earning recognition for diplomatic excellence at Model United Nations conferences in New York and Geneva. He conducted field research in South Korea and is currently finalizing an article on the country’s soft power, set to be published. During his time at university, he was actively involved in his school’s International Relations student association, first joining the marketing team before being elected General Secretary in his third year. He also gained professional experience as a Junior Account Manager at MAAB, conducting market research to identify new business opportunities, and previously interned at the Portuguese Consulate in São Luís, handling citizenship processes. Looking ahead, Luís aims to pursue a future master’s degree bridging Latin American and Asian studies, reflecting his growing interest in cross-regional dynamics. He is excited to return to a Global Model UN conference, this time as a Public Information Officer, and looks forward to contributing his communication skills and cross-cultural perspective to the team.

Bennett Bashir
Bennett sees photography as more than a way of documenting what happens. For him, it’s about finding the moments in between: the reaction before the applause, the conversation that happens in the hallway, the split second when a room comves alive. His work is rooted in storytelling, not to tell what happened, but how it felt. Based in Vancouver, Bennett works across a range of events, creative projects, and live experiences. His approach is cinematic withouth loosing the spontaneity of the people and the moment.
After joining Global Model UN New York in 2026, he has reprised his role as lead photographer in Global Model UN Singapore 2026 and will be serving as the Director of Communications for Global Model FAO 2026. Bennett returns as a Public Information Officer to tell the story Global Model UN through the eyes of the people who make it what it is, capturing the friendships, conversations, celebrations and unexpected moments that delegates will remember for years to come.

Nathaniel is a videographer based in London, with a background in music that shapes how he approaches pacing, mood, and rhythm on camera. He works across a multitude of creative fields with a primary focus in music branding, event coverage, and creative direction, developing visual content that blends cinematic storytelling with a warm, naturalistic style. His passion for visual storytelling has led him to explore how video can turn a moment into something worth revisiting – capturing not just what happened, but how it felt to be there. Nate returns to Global Model UN New York after contributing to the 2026 conference, and looks forward to bringing his creative perspective and technical expertise to help elevate the delegate experience – creating content that captures the spirit of the Global Model UN and stays with delegates long after the conference ends.

Diego is a Belgian filmmaker who has been passionate about film and video since childhood. That early passion led him to study at IAD, a renowned film school in Belgium, where he sharpened his sense of rhythm in picture editing and specialized in sound editing, earning his master’s degree. He went on to work as both a sound editor and picture editor across cinema, television, and web productions. These years of experience refined his sense of rhythm and his creative instinct, gradually leading him toward a more complete, versatile role as a filmmaker. Today, he moves fluidly between editing, writing, art direction, directing, and sound design, each practice nourishing the others, and all of them fulfilling him deeply. He now handles full productions, from commercials to social media content, managing every stage himself. Alongside this client work, he continues to develop personal, artistic projects that are closest to his heart, driven by a single, enduring purpose: to show the world just how beautiful it is through sounds, visuals and compelling narration.

Halytza Dutra
Halytza Dutra is an MUNer from Curitiba, Brazil, who has been sharing MUN content on TikTok since 2022. Through humor and relatable takes, she creates videos aimed especially at Brazilian students, making the MUN world feel less intimidating and a lot more fun. This year, she expanded her work by joining the mymun social media team, where she continues to use a light, creative approach to engage new delegates and bring MUN culture closer to a wider audience.
Beyond TikTok trends, Halytza has a strong background as a delegate, having participated in 16 international MUN conferences and earning awards in highly competitive conferences. During high school, she was also part of the National Debate Team at the World Schools Debate Championship, an experience that allowed her to build friendships across the world and fueled her passion for cultural exchange. Driven by communication and global dialogue, she plans to major in International Relations and is excited to create content, meet delegates, and watch everyone do their best while having fun at Global Model UN New York 2027.

Anna Gumenyuk is an award-winning youth advocate, advisor, and founder whose work reaches across continents, directly impacting over 14,000 young people worldwide. Anna is serving as a UN Human Rights Council Advisor, Adidas Foundation Consultant for inclusion, and is part of Global Shaper community in Switzerland.
She is the founder of the UNESCO Media & Information Literacy (MIL) Chapter, a recipient of the Young Diplomat Award 2025, and an organizer of IGF Youth Conference. Anna is dedicated to ensuring that technology ethically empowers humanity and that youth have a seat at every decision-making table.

Andrés Herrera Esquivel
Andrés Herrera is an international relations professional, tech entrepreneur, TEDx speaker and content creator in the diplomatic industry. He worked at the US Embassy in Mexico, the OECD, the Mexican Senate, and the British Embassy. He quit to co-found Camargo International, a company that creates intelligence software for Embassies, governments and businesses. Andrés is one of the most active Spanish-speaking voices on International Relations. He has 2.2 million likes and 100k+ followers on social media. He founded Everything About IR, the largest Ibero-American network on IR, with +3500 members from 20 countries. Through his courses and coaching programs, he has helped hundreds of people get jobs at embassies and international organizations, and to participate at the World’s major summits (UNGA, COP, G20). Andrés has given +200 conferences worldwide, including at TEDx, Harvard, and the UN. He has participated in +60 Model UNs. As Secretary-General/ Senior Secretariat he has organized conferences for +1000 participants. He now works with universities to create new conferences and has established LATAM’s largest MUN network with +70 institutions. He co-founded HGM Innovation, a media agency that creates digital content for Mexico’s largest Universities.

Isabel Moguel is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Mérida, Mexico, and the founder of emoilustra, an independent creative brand focused on illustration, branding, and merchandise design. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Universidad Marista and has collaborated with cafés, local businesses, and creative organizations to develop visual identities, campaigns, and illustrated products that combine storytelling with strategic design.
Her multidisciplinary approach spans branding, editorial illustration, packaging, merchandise, and social media content, always seeking to create meaningful and memorable experiences through design.
Beyond her creative practice, Isabel is committed to community engagement and youth initiatives, participating in collaborative projects that promote creativity, cultural exchange, and education. Tai Binquan is a Filmmaker based in Singapore. Grounded in a background of documentary storytelling, he views filmmaking as a dynamic medium to explore the depths of the human experience. Whether producing independent content or collaborating with clients through his photo and video business, Binquan rejects the modern obsession with metrics in favor of creating meaningful work that invites people to slow down, reflect, and look inward. In an age where the internet taught a generation how to be visible, but forgot to teach us how to feel close, Binquan aims to bridge that gap. Having served as a Public Information Officer in his home country in 2026, he’s looking forward to serve again in New York in a bigger capacity.

Maha Albogami
Maha holds a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and works at a management consulting firm in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where she supports public sector clients in strategy, governance and transformation initiatives. She also holds a diploma in Russian Language, with a minor in Journalism, from Moscow Pedagogical State University.
Having spent much of her formative years abroad, Maha developed an early interest in international affairs, public service and cross-cultural dialogue. Fluent in Arabic, English and Russian, she believes diplomacy builds trust, fosters understanding and turns dialogue into collective action.
Alongside her career, Maha is committed to youth development. Guided by Maya Angelou’s words, “When you learn, teach. When you get, give,” she has mentored and supported more than 500 young people through multiple initiatives. She is also a Global Shaper with the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community – Riyadh Hub, contributing to community initiatives that have reached more than 2,000 beneficiaries.
Maha previously participated in the Global Model WHO at the World Health Organization Headquarters in Geneva and will serve as a Chair at Global Model UN New York 2027. She looks forward to cultivating an inclusive committee where delegates feel challenged to think critically, negotiate thoughtfully and approach global issues with curiosity and empathy.

Adolfo Alvarez
Adolfo Alvarez is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was the first Latino Student Body President of America’s oldest public university, representing more than 32,000 students and serving as a member of the UNC Board of Trustees.
Adolfo’s Model United Nations experience includes serving as Secretary-General of UNCMUNC XIV, as well as leadership roles with Asia World Model United Nations and Asia Youth International Model United Nations.
He currently serves in the Office of the Secretary at the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, supporting executive operations and stakeholder engagement across all 100 counties in North Carolina. At DEQ, he works to protect clean land, air, and water, safeguarding public health, and supporting communities in recovering from Hurricane Helene, the most devastating storm in the state’s recorded history.

Bianca Arabella L. Antonio
Bianca is an undergraduate student at the University of Navarra, pursuing a degree in International Relations. With her background in Model UN, she has attended and led conferences on both a local and international scale. More recently, she earned the Albert F. Del Rosario Memorial Award during the Philippine International Model United Nations.
She first discovered her passion for diplomacy in high school and has since then continued by joining programs and leadership opportunities, further developing her interest in the field. She serves as Secretariat for her university’s Model UN organization as she continues her undergraduate studies.
As Chair for the upcoming Global Model UN New York 2027, she looks forward to meeting delegates from all around the world. She hopes that this conference will inspire delegates to collaborate and explore their passion for international diplomacy.

Ely Boulos is a Lebanese Communication student at the Lebanese American University with a passion for diplomacy, leadership, and public speaking. Through Model United Nations, she has developed a strong belief in the power of dialogue, collaboration, and inclusive leadership to create meaningful learning experiences.
Since beginning her MUN journey as a delegate in high school, Ely has served in a variety of leadership roles, including Chair, School Advisor, Trainer, and Under-Secretary-General. These experiences have strengthened her commitment to creating committee environments where delegates feel supported, respected, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Beyond Model UN, Ely delivered a TEDx talk titled The Power of Going Solo, where she explored the value of independence and personal growth. She has also participated in numerous public speaking and leadership programs, further developing her communication and facilitation skills.
As a Chair at Global Model UN New York 2027, Ely is committed to fostering engaging and inclusive debate while ensuring every delegate feels confident contributing to committee discussions. Adriano Condorelli
Adriano Condorelli, who will be serving as a Chair for Global Model UN New York 2027, is a first-year Law Student with a passion for diplomacy and international law. Having lived across many countries, he understands diverse multicultural backgrounds. He is originally from Italy, but born in Melbourne where he completed his Primary education, currently living in Cambodia where he completed his Secondary education and where he was first introduced to Model United Nations, and soon moving to Singapore for his further tertiary studies.
Global Model UN New York 2027 marks his 17th conference, across Singapore, Cambodia, the UAE, and now the United States of America. Having served as a two-time Secretary-General, Assistant-Secretary-General for Yale Model UN Singapore 2026, a Delegate countless times, as an incumbent Faculty Advisor guiding delegates, and as a Chairperson for the International Court of Justice three-times, Human Rights Council two-times, and Security Council, he can safely say that he has experienced it all. He believes understanding Model United Nations comes from experiencing it from the ground up.
He believes that the consensus-driven approach is fundamental to the work of the United Nations, as it encourages cooperation, inclusivity, and mutual understanding amongst Member States with diverse perspectives. Rather than relying solely on majority voting, consensus-building promotes negotiation and compromise, enabling countries to develop better supported solutions more effectively
He has also previously served as a Vice-Chair for the International Labour Organisation at WFUNA’s WIMUN Singapore 2025 edition, renewing his dedication to the consensus-driven approach in Global Model UN New York 2027. Adriano looks forward to developing the diplomats of tomorrow, through the world’s most accurate simulations of the United Nations in the heart of New York.

María Jimena Díaz González is an International Relations graduate whose work focuses on youth leadership and community-driven development. She currently designs and leads initiatives that bring university students and local communities together to develop sustainable responses to social challenges across southeastern Mexico.
Throughout her work, Jimena has focused on creating spaces where young people can learn, serve, and recognize their ability to contribute to meaningful change. She believes that leadership is not defined by titles, but by the willingness to listen, collaborate, and take action toward transforming the realities around us. Through this vision, she works to ensure that young people are not only the leaders of tomorrow, but active changemakers today.
This perspective has shaped her involvement in Model United Nations, where she has worked to create delegate-centered learning experiences that emphasize consensus-building and empathetic approaches to complex global issues.

Patrice M. de Guzman
Patrice de Guzman is an economic diplomacy and climate policy specialist with an MSc in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics. She is a multilingual communicator fluent in English, Filipino, and Spanish, and carries a working knowledge of Korean and Mandarin. Patrice’s career spans international development, trade, and environmental governance, having engaged directly with the WTO, UNFCCC, and various diplomatic missions and Philippine government agencies. She recently interned with the Article 6 Capacity Building Unit at UN Climate Change, coordinated programs and research for the Philippines at the World Economic Forum, and previously served as her country’s youth delegate to the UN High-Level Political Forum 2024. Having navigated these very rooms herself, Patrice is ecstatic to join Global Model UN New York 2027 in an advisory capacity, dedicated to showing every delegate that diplomacy belongs to everyone, and that anyone can find their voice and make a real difference!

Jan De Leon is a Political Science graduate based in California. Passionate about public service, democratic governance, and civic engagement, he has worked across local government, advocacy organizations, and political campaigns, contributing to policy research, stakeholder engagement, community outreach, and strategic communications. These experiences have strengthened his commitment to developing practical, collaborative solutions to complex public policy challenges. Outside of his professional work, Jan has been actively involved in Model United Nations for several years. He has served as Vice Chair across multiple committees at Berkeley Model United Nations, directed the NATO committee at OxfordMUN Canada, and a U.S. Cabinet crisis committee at CIMUN, and staffed for FWWMUN. Through these roles, he has developed a passion for fostering thoughtful debate, inclusive diplomacy, and collaborative problem solving. As a Chair, Jan strives to create an engaging and welcoming committee where delegates feel empowered to think critically, negotiate respectfully, and grow as leaders. Jaclyn Lo is a graduate medical student, researcher, and global health advocate whose work is grounded in a commitment to health equity, community engagement, and service. Her academic, research, and advocacy interests span ophthalmology, adolescent health, women’s health, and public health. Through her roles as a teaching assistant, mentor, and student leader, she is committed to creating collaborative learning environments that empower others to build confidence, think critically, and engage meaningfully with global challenges.
Having previously served as a Communications Officer for WFUNA’s Global Model WHO 2024, she is honored to return as a Chair for Global Model UN New York 2027. She looks forward to supporting delegates as they strengthen their diplomacy and negotiation skills, engage in meaningful dialogue and consensus-building, and grow as thoughtful and engaged global citizens.

Inês Sofia Leitão
Inês Sofia is a Model United Nations educator, coach, and conference organizer with over six years of experience in diplomacy education, youth leadership, and international engagement. She is currently pursuing a Law degree at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and is undertaking an exchange program at the Faculty of Law of the University of São Paulo, where she continues to deepen her interests in international law, public policy, and international relations.
Throughout her Model UN journey, Inês has participated in more than 100 conferences as a delegate, chair, organizer, and coach, earning over 50 awards and distinctions across national, international, and online simulations.
Her international experience includes serving as part of the WIMUN New York 2025 team and coaching delegations at international Model United Nations conferences. She is passionate about mentoring young leaders in diplomacy, negotiation, and public speaking, helping students thrive in international academic environments.
Committed to expanding access to Model UN, Inês organized Lisbon’s first conference bringing together both high school and university students and now develops Model UN initiatives across Brazil, empowering the next generation of globally minded leaders through conference organization, delegate coaching, and youth leadership.
Inês believes that Model United Nations is a powerful platform for developing future diplomats, changemakers, and collaborative leaders. Anna Majoros
Anna Majoros is a Benjamin Franklin Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania, where she studies Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, with a minor in American Public Policy. Her work sits at the intersection of global affairs and strategy: she has served as Research Assistant on M&A and corporate strategy at the Wharton School, advised publishing and healthcare firms as well as NGOs as a Business Strategy Consultant, and completed internships at Airbus in HSE and controlling, and UNICEF Hungary in finance. In a few months, Anna is going to head to the nation’s capital through the Penn in Washington program, where she will study policymaking up close while completing a policy internship in Washington, D.C. She holds a Financial Planning and Analysis certificate, and as a pre-law student, she hopes to build a career at the intersection of international human rights and finance, where she would like to contribute to the bettering of the lives of vulnerable populations.
Anna has been involved in Model UN for five years, and she has previously served as the Secretary-General of Hungary’s largest international MUN conference. She brings that same energy for structured debate and creative problem-solving to this conference and is very excited to get to know all the participants and organizers and is looking forward to an amazing and fruitful conference.

Paula Recio Rey
Paula Recio Rey is a recent graduate of Nova Southeastern University, where she earned a dual Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Studies, with concentrations in International History & Politics and Security, Peace, and Conflict, along with minors in International Law, Economics, and Global Engagement. She completed a study abroad program at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where she studied International Law and European Union Law. She was part of the Razor’s Edge Global Scholars Program, serving as an Executive Board member. Through this role, she promoted intercultural engagement and global citizenship.
Her involvement with Model United Nations began in 2022, participating in regional and international conferences while developing expertise in diplomacy, negotiation, research, and public speaking. She served as President and Vice President of the Nova Southeastern University Model United Nations Academic Team and held leadership positions within NIRAMUN’s annual high school conference, serving as Secretary-General for two years and Under-Secretary-General for one year. Through these roles, she helped organize conferences that engaged more than 300 high school students. As a delegate at the WFUNA International Model United Nations Conference at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, she participated in the Sixth Legal Committee, received a Diplomacy Award, and contributed to her delegation earning Best Large Delegation.
She currently serves as a Partnership Assistant with WFUNA, supporting partnership development and outreach efforts for United Nations educational initiatives. She also works at EnGen, a certified B Corporation that supports immigrants and refugees through workforce-aligned English education.
As Global Model UN New York 2027 Chair, she hopes to create an inclusive committee environment that encourages consensus and diplomacy, inspiring delegates to become future global leaders prepared to collaborate on solutions to international challenges.

Sasha Sánchez
Sasha Sánchez is an International Security master’s student based in France and Spain. Passionate about defense-related topics and diplomacy he has worked with public service institutions and private intelligence companies. His MUN journey started 3 years ago in France and has since led him to travel the world to experience new MUN formats. His chairing and delegate experiences allowed him to co-organize his university’s yearly MUN conference, and then chair multiple international conferences in the US and Asia. His commitment to diplomacy leads him to greatly appreciate thoughtful and research-based debates, along with creative and realistic proposals, which is exactly what he looks forward to as a chair at Global Model UN New York 2027.

Devi is an undergraduate student in International Relations with a passion for diplomacy, multilateral cooperation, and humanitarian affairs. Having lived and studied in multicultural environments, she values engaging with people from different backgrounds and believes diverse perspectives are essential to effective diplomacy. Through Model United Nations, she has developed a passion for collaboration, critical thinking, and respectful dialogue.
Outside of her academic life, Devi enjoys going on safari, a passion developed from being from Kenya, discovering new music, reading, and creating henna designs.
Since the age of 11, she has participated in numerous Model United Nations conferences, serving in roles from delegate to secretariat leadership and gaining extensive experience in committee proceedings, delegate training, and conference organisation. These experiences have reinforced her belief that diplomacy is not only about reaching consensus, but about ensuring every voice has the opportunity to be heard.
As a Chair at Global Model UN New York 2027, she is committed to creating an environment that encourages collaborative problem-solving and creating an inclusive environment where delegates can grow in confidence as negotiators and leaders. Paula Loretta Solís Ávila
Loretta Solís is a dual-degree student pursuing Bachelor’s degrees in International Relations and Law at Universidad de las Américas Puebla, and a member of the Honors Program since 2023, where she conducts specialized research on National Security, intelligence, and strategic studies.
She has participated in Model United Nations conferences since 2016, and since 2024 has been part of the Global Model UN Policy Team. Her academic trajectory includes studies at Sciences Po Paris and at Queen Mary University of London.
She took part in the Seminar on Combating Disinformation, organized by the U.S. Embassy in Mexico and Oklahoma State University, and has collaborated with the Inter-American Committee against Terrorism (CICTE/OAS) on violent extremism prevention. She has further trained in high-level seminars on regional security and national defense coordinated by El Colegio de México, the Inter-American Defense Board, the William J. Perry Center, the Mexican Institute for Strategic Studies on Security and National Defense, and the National Defense College.
She complements her technical training as an assistant to the International Security Academic Committee of the Mexican Association for International Studies. She is fluent in English and has working knowledge of French and Mandarin Chinese.

Charlotte Perry
Charlotte is an undergraduate Law student with a strong interest in international affairs, negotiation and diplomacy. Her experiences in competitive negotiation and legal volunteering have shaped her interest in understanding different perspectives and developing practical solutions to complex problems.
Charlotte was initially selected to represent her university in a national negotiation competition, progressing through regional and national rounds representing Cardiff before being selected to represent Wales internationally. Competing as part of a two-person Team Wales against 22 teams from around the world, she placed third internationally, making Team Wales the highest-placing team competing without a coach. The competition centred on commercial negotiations, requiring extensive research, strategic preparation and an understanding of clients’ underlying interests and objectives. Charlotte particularly enjoyed developing creative, low-cost, high-value solutions and adapting her communication style across cultures.
Alongside her studies, Charlotte volunteers supporting clients through court proceedings, helping individuals navigate unfamiliar legal processes, understand court documentation and prepare correspondence. This has strengthened her ability to communicate with empathy, clarity and patience, particularly when supporting clients in stressful circumstances.
As part of the Global Model UN New York 2027 Secretariat, Charlotte looks forward to bringing her experience in negotiation, communication and cross-cultural collaboration to the conference and learning from its international community.

Damjan Vezenkoski
Damjan is a Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) student at Central European University in Vienna, originally from North Macedonia. Over the past several years, Model United Nations has become a major part of his academic and personal journey, having participated, chaired and organized Model UN conferences across the Balkan region.
Beyond MUN, Damjan has extensive experience in organizing international conferences and student-led initiatives. He has served in leadership roles at several conferences, including as Project Manager for the annual Balkan Business Forum in Belgrade, where he worked on bringing together professionals, business leaders, and policymakers from across the region to create opportunities for positive change.
Damjan is also passionate about addressing economic inequality and creating meaningful social impact. He co-founded a project focused on raising awareness about homelessness and providing direct support to people experiencing homelessness. This includes a hands-on volunteering program and the distribution of first-aid and hygiene kits. Co-funded by the European Union, the initiative combines educational seminars and community engagement, with its work spanning across Vienna, Paris, and Madrid.
For all delegates coming to NYC, Damjan’s biggest advice is to, most importantly, have fun and make the most of the experience. Global Model UN is not only an opportunity to develop your diplomacy and leadership skills, but also a chance to meet different cultures and make friendships that can last far beyond the conference.
