From 9 – 11 August, WFUNA’s Youth Seminar on MDGs took place in New York. In this seminar, WFUNA hosted 11 members from 9 United Nations Associations. The participants in the seminar were members from the following UNAs: Brazil, Malaysia, Mexico, Republic of Korea, Suriname, Tanzania, United Kingdom, United States, and Nepal.

The three day seminar focused on building practical skillsets in project management, fundraising, and capacity building. Throughout the seminar, participants were able to learn from best practices and draft new ideas on possible projects related to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). Working in groups, participants worked to build an actual project and presented the final presentation on the last day of the seminar.
