WFUNA is pleased to welcome two new Friends of WFUNA Board members: Mr. Mario Bernardo Garnero, Jr. and Ms. Nancy Prager-Kamel.

Mr. Garnero brings with him expertise in Brazilian and corporate affairs and real estate. Ms. Prager-Kamel offers her expertise in corporate and government relations and financial advisory. Both have a long-standing commitment to the United Nations, and thus to the work of WFUNA.

The addition of Mr. Garnero and Ms. Prager comes after Ambassador William vanden Heuvel’s announcement at a recent Friends of WFUNA luncheon that he will step down from his position as President of the Board. The Ambassador will continue as a Board member, while Ms. Marilyn Haft will now serve as Interim President. WFUNA would like to thank Ambassador vanden Heuvel for his many years of exemplary service and dedication to the organization.

We look forward to what the future holds for the Friends of WFUNA.
