New York, NY - On March 7th, the 16+ Forum convened the side-event, Advancing SDG 16+ in 2019: Policy, Practice and Political Will, featuring the Permanent Missions of Georgia, Sierra Leone and Timor-Leste. The event brought to the fore key take-aways from the 16+ Forum Annual Showcases against the backdrop of HLPF 2019, the SDG Summit and our collective efforts to advance SDG 16+.

New York, NY – The 73rd session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 73) opened on 18 September 2018. As the world’s leading political figures gathered in New York City, the 16+ Forum, in partnership with the Global Alliance for Reporting Progress on Peaceful, Just and Inclusive Societies, the Pathfinders for Peaceful, Just and Inclusive Societies, and the Permanent Mission of Sierra Leone mobilized actors from member states, civil society and private sector to Stand Up for SDG 16+.

New York, NY – Since the adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in 2015, and amidst a growing number of champions, three Member State led initiatives have advocated for efficient implementation and reporting on SDG 16+: the Global Alliance for Reporting Progress on Peaceful, Just and Inclusive Societies, the Pathfinders for Peaceful, Just and Inclusive Societies, and the 16+ Forum.
The Urban Innovation Challenge: Citypreneurs is a young SDGs start-up competition in Seoul for prospective entrepreneurs from around the world interested in solving urban issues in Seoul and achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). WFUNA will co-host the challenge with UN ESCAP, UNDP, WeGO, Seoul Metropolitan Government, Seoul Digital Foundation. Learn more about last year's winners here.
