is the Secretary-General of the World Federation of United Nations Associations. She brings to this position the experience and skills of an Australian diplomat, (with postings in Ghana, India, the UK and the UN in New York). She has worked in the media, in civil society and the private sector and is the author of various publications, including “We the peoples 2005 – mobilizing for Change: messages from Civil Society” jointly produced by the World Federation and the North-South Institute. is a Ph.D. consultant specialized in multicultural issues and civil society. She is the editor of an academic website www.cosmopolitanism.org and has served through her communication consulting activities several non profit associations and organizations, particularly in the field of health, desertification and human rights. Among others, Daphne has served the American Joint Distribution Committee, the Controlled Release Society, the Center for Applied Studies in International Negotiation, Swissaid, the Global Mechanism of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification, the International Union Against Cancer and she has also contributed to WFUNA's activities on a volunteer basis in October 2002. is the Communications Strategist at the World Federation of United Nations Associations. She has been with the organization since fall 2004. Fruzsina is the Editor of UN Connections, the World Federation's newsletter, as well as serving as the webmaster and media liaison for the New York Office. She is responsible for the design, implementation and coordination of a communications strategy for the organization. In addition to these core responsibilities, Fruzsina assists in project development, drafting proposals and organizing youth and education-related activities.Prior to joining WFUNA, Fruzsina worked as a Marketing Assistant for an international company in New York, and in University Administration at the Central European University in Hungary, her country of origin.
Fruzsina has a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and Philosophy from Hunter College, and is currently in her final year pursuing a Masters Degree in Diplomacy and International Relations at Seton Hall University. She can be reached at: molnar@wfuna.org
